Our Charity Program
AMCV is committed to providing health care to the community which it serves. A part of this is providing emergency and medical services to the indigent population and the uninsured who are unable to or have a limited capability to pay; thus the Charity Care Program was developed.
This Charity Care Program (financial assistance) is extended to all qualified patients without distinction on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, or religious affiliation.
To finance this Charity Care Program, AMCV created a Charity Fund which is funded by donations and fundraising activities.

To be eligible for the Charity Care Program, a financial evaluation is performed by the hospital’s social worker to determine a patient’s financial status--whether the patient is truly not capable of paying for the required services.
